I am STILL looking for a better format to switch over to. I may have found one today, and will look into it a little deeper…so stay tuned!

I have not forgotten about this site, though it seems that I might have! With all the work I’m doing on my new novel it’s hard to find the time to continue working this site, which does not seem all that user/photography friendly.

I have been looking for better ways to post galleries of my photos, but it’s hard to find a theme that is intuitive and does not employ a lot of keystrokes. I do play around in this site from time to time to figure out how to post my images and have them available for others to EASILY view, and I just cannot figure it out. Sure, this initial layout looks good, but how it groups and displays images does not seem user friendly nor display friendly, and involves too many keystrokes to just view something.

So, to that end, I am still looking. Much of what I see doesn’t look much better. If anyone out there has some ideas, please contact me by comment and point me to some possible better formats! I will continue to look into better ways of displays my images. In the meantime, please also feel free to stop my other site, www.fpdorchak.com.

Welcome to my new site dedicated to some of the better images I’ve taken over the years!

I don’t really consider myself a “photographer”; taking pictures does not a photographer make. I am a writer…an author of speculative fiction…but I’ve also always loved taking pictures. Not unlike many of you, I like to capture certain and very specific moments. I will post the best images I have to offer, using my Nikon D3400 and sometimes an iPhone or other point-and-shoots, maybe even some old-school print images. My hopes are that you will all find something to enjoy here or even make you think. I want to present points of view through my own philosophical point of view. Hopefully, later this year (2019) I will also have these same image for sale…but if not, please enjoy what I have to offer.
